About us

Superhero's .jpg

Aylesford Pre-School is located in the Aylesford Football Pavilion (Forstal Road, right next door to the Community Centre). We offer a small, friendly and caring environment, located in a modern building with access to the community field and play area.

We can accommodate 20 children per session, offering a morning, lunch and afternoon session.

We take children following their 2nd birthday and funded 2, 3 and 4 year old's. We accept 15 and 30 hours funding.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to flourish in a nurturing and stimulating Pre-School environment. Every child deserves the right to be happy, feel safe and develop at their own pace.

Our overriding aim is to ensure that every child feels valued and respected. We provide activities and learning opportunities that will excite and inspire your child, in an environment that feels safe and welcoming and that supports your child’s learning.

Owners Wendy and Claire met at University, whilst studying for their early years degrees.

Wendy has worked at St Peter's Nursery since it began over 10 years ago and prior to that at Aylesford Under 5's in the village.

Claire has over 30 years early years experience, working in a range of early years settings and at management level for the last 10 years.

Since University Wendy and Claire have remained friends and recently worked together at St Peter's Nursery. "Due to the closure of the school nursery we both felt very strongly that the village needed a Pre-School and were unhappy at the thought of our existing children having nowhere local to go. So there was born Aylesford Pre-School."

"We both believe in the importance of providing children and their families with the opportunity to access a high quality early years setting. We understand the importance of ensuring that children feel safe and happy before they are able to learn and develop to their full potential.

We also want children to have fun and enjoy their childhood surrounded by people that care for them."

The Pavillion building is not used by any other groups during the day so it is very safe. There will be a small area of land that is securely fenced off during sessions providing an enclosed outside area. There is also full access to the public spaces.

There is plenty of parking ensuring an easy drop off and pick up.

There will also be a minimum of 4 members of staff working every day.
